Photo sessions are $75 and include a consultation prior to the scheduled shoot to discuss location, attire, vision for photos, an overview of products available & pricing, an opportunity to address your questions, the photo shoot itself, and editing/preparation of your photos. The session fee is due one day prior to the shoot. The session fee does not include photo prints.
Location:
All sessions can be shot at the location of your choice. Your home, your backyard, neighborhood park, or favorite family spot . . . a location that holds special signficance to you and yours is always a plus. I also have locations of my own that I can suggest as well. I'm very flexible and love trying out new locations, so please don't hesitate to recommend a special spot!
What to expect on the day of your shoot:
Every session is different, but that's what makes my job so great! I know how important it is to have beautiful pictures of your children, and so I create a calm, stress-free, easy going atmosphere to make that possible. Please feel free to bring up to two outfit changes, props (a child's favorite toy, blanket, snack, an instrument that you play, or piece of sports equipment). I do allow time for wardrobe changes, feedings, and breaks. I allot up to two hours for each shoot, although typically they last an hour to an hour and a half. If the weather is not cooperating on the day of your shoot, we will reschedule.
Newborn sessions:
For the convenience and comfort of the new parents, I will come to your home for this shoot. I like to capture the baby within the first few weeks. This is due primarily to their sleepiness. I allot plenty of time for feeding breaks, diaper changes, outfit changes, snuggles with Mom & Dad, and anything you need to do to make baby happy! That being said, newborn sessions are much longer than regular shoots, up to 3-4 hours. Your baby's comfort, warmth, and safety is of the utmost importance to me during the shoot.
Viewing your photos:
Your photos will be availabe for viewing in 5-7 days after your shoot under the "Client" tab on this blog. Once you select the photos of your choice, along with the sizes I will send the images to a professional lab for processing. All photos are printed on Kodak ENDURA professional photo paper with a fine grain pebble texture and a linen finish.
