My name is Hilary Lepa and welcome to my blog! This blog is designed not only to showcase my photography and share all that I have to offer you, but also as a way to chronicle this time in my life. I'm as sentimental as they come, and I love looking back on different chapters of my life and reliving special moments. Whether it was my life as a single college girl, tagging along after my older brother (my childhood idol) heading to prom, celebrating my grandmother's 90th birthday, falling in love, walking down the aisle in my father's arm, and holding the most precious gift I could ever receive in my arms for the first time. I guess that's why I love photography so much.
An East-coast girl since birth, I love freezing cold winters, the Red Sox, and the sound of the Atlantic crashing against any Cape Cod beach. If I could see a movie, and any movie at that since I'm not at all particular, every day for the rest of my life, I would. There's just something about watching a movie on the big screen, in a big theater. I love it. I love to sing, although I wouldn't classify myself as a singer by any means, I love to laugh and more than that, I love making other people laugh. I am loyal to a fault, and somewhat of a perfectionist. I am a people-pleaser and would do anything for a friend. Before I became a stay-at-home mom to a little man that I absolutely adore, I was a middle school guidance counselor for ten years. I guess you could say I love working with children. Photography has always been a part of my life, something I inherited from my father. It's such a wonderful thing, to be able to take pictures of people during special days and every days, and making them happy. As I said, I am a people-pleaser.
I am a life style and natural light photographer in the Madisonville, Kentucky area. I can't think of anything more perfect than capturing a quiet moment between a parent and their child, or that instant where a child erupts into laughter for no reason at all. It makes me feel happy just thinking about it. I shoot on location and in your home. I strive to create photos that tell your story, honestly and beautifully.
